Here's my responsibilities for depth understanding of what do I do:

1. Managing Import Sea Freight Operations:- Overseeing the end-to-end import sea freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.- Coordinating with carriers, shipping lines, and other service providers to arrange shipments.- Handling documentation, customs clearance, and compliance requirements for import shipments.
2. Customer Communication and Service:- Serving as a primary point of contact for clients regarding their import shipments.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or issues promptly.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Customs Compliance and Documentation:- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures for import shipments.
- Managing import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and import permits.
- Liaising with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance processes.

4. Cargo Tracking and Reporting:
- Tracking import shipments in transit and providing regular updates to clients on the status of their cargo.
- Generating reports on import sea freight activities, including shipment status, performance metrics, and key performance indicators.
- Identifying and addressing any delays or issues affecting import shipments and implementing corrective actions as needed.
