Profile Description

I’m a seasoned Virtual Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, and I’ve spent over 18 years in the trenches of engineering and plant management. My career has been balancing operational efficiency and environmental responsibility, ensuring that every project I lead meets the highest standards and contributes to a better, more sustainable future.

One of the highlights of my career was leading a $25 million project for C-Joy Poultry Meats Production Inc., one of the largest poultry processing plants in the Philippines. Managing a facility that processes 45 million birds a year was no small feat, but I thrived on the challenge, ensuring the plant operated smoothly and sustainably.

Another significant project I led was the construction of a $30 million factory for Nippon Premium Bakery Inc. From the initial groundbreaking to the first loaf of bread coming off the line, I was there every step of the way, managing everything from building construction to equipment installation and commissioning. What made this project particularly rewarding was working closely with various teams and government entities, ensuring we hit our targets and deadlines in just 10 months.

I’m particularly proud of the work I’ve done in environmental sustainability. At Unilever’s Selecta ice cream factory, I led the design and installation of a 150TR Air Cooling system, which not only boosted efficiency but also helped us achieve a safety milestone of 25,000 man-hours without a single Lost Time AUpgrade to see actual info. 

Additionally, I spearheaded a project to convert 200 cubic meters of wastewater per day into reusable process water—a first for Unilever in Southeast Asia and a project that saves the company money monthly.

Energy conservation is another area where I’ve made a significant impact. I’ve implemented energy-saving initiatives across multiple companies, leading to annual savings of $60,000 by optimizing steam boiler operations and centralizing air conditioning systems. Beyond the technical side, I’ve taken on leadership roles that allow me to make a difference in safety and productivity. 

I’ve led Emergency Response Teams, spearheaded the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance, and trained teams to be proactive in maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Throughout my career, I’ve been recognized for going above and beyond, with awards like the 2010 Above and Beyond Performer from Johnson Controls and the 2009 Employee of the Year from Team Pacific Corporation. I hold multiple certifications in safety, environmental management, and energy efficiency, which complement my hands-on experience and strategic approach to project management.
