I have been in the BPO industry for over five
years already. I was able to experience both customer service and sales
accounts. Most of these accounts I handled involved cold-calling. I was once a
pre-qualifier and closer for a home security account, appointment setter for
solar energy and a real estate account, and recently lead generation specialist
for a health insurance account. The highlight of my career started when I was
with a home security account that involved hard selling. This experience
harnessed my ability to convince people to buy the products/services I offer.
It was the starting point of my ongoing career in the sales industry. The job
back then was to qualify prospective customers if they had an existing alarm
system or not and make sure they were not under contract with their monitoring
company if they had one. Once qualified, we offer them an upgrade to their
existing alarm system and switch them over to a different monitoring company.
The rest of the sales accounts I handled underwent a similar process-
pre-qualifying prospective clients and converting them into sales. I am a very
hardworking person. I don't want to be absent during working hours unless
something emergency happens. I have good communication skills. I'm a good
listener, flexible and adaptive to new things.
