Present Job Description:

Supervised and coordinate the materials and equipment packing, shipping, transportation, clearance and forwarding of air and sea cargoes through customs. Ensure the compliance with the legal requirements for checking and provision of the necessary documents such as original bill of lading, airway bill, packing list, certificates and invoices.
Carry out and follow up on the timely administration of damaged items by providing documents for insurance claims.
Supervised the contractor activities with respect to the Transit Store to ensure the safe handling, temporary storage and time and economic delivery of the materials to the
Plant. Review the respective Contract Agreements in order to advise on scope and
conditions and contractors performance with emphasis on the HSE management system and its implementation.
Source for alternative/competitive offers with regard to air and sea freights in case the assigned shipping and transportation contractor is not able to fulfill the set prices and delivery requirement.
Maintained in the Maintenance and Materials Management System or data related to the consignments documents concerning materials received and transportation to the Plants and to run and check the respective monthly status and accruals reports.
Prepared annual budget and cargos weights for respective shipping and transportation cost including clearance and insurance charges.
Checked Purchase Order terms, conditions, and issue the exemption letter when required.
Assisted in the shipping and custom clearance of the staff personal effects.
Assisted in the Department administration activities like, invoice processing, receipts processing, meetings & presentations coordination, etc.
Take the role of Senior Logistics Coordinator during his leave of absence.
