Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating for residential construction, renovation, handyman and maintenance jobs, as well as commercial renovations for US clients. This individual will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that our projects are financially viable and completed within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects, renovations, handyman services, and maintenance jobs.
-Collaborate closely with the general manager, operations manager & sales manager to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
-Analyze project blueprints via Buildertrend TakeOff/Square TakeOff, specifications, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
-Prepare detailed and competitive bids that align with client expectations and company profitability goals as per company standards.
-Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and technological advancements to ensure competitiveness in the market.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically in residential construction, renovation, handyman and maintenance jobs, and commercial renovations and minimium of 1 year of experience dealing with US clients.
-Proficiency in construction estimating software (Buildertrend or any related software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication abilities.
-Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
