PowerShell Automation Specialist - NinjaOne & HaloPSA Proficient

About the Role:
In this part-time role, you'll be responsible for writing, editing, and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate various IT tasks and workflows. Up to 90% of the scripts will focus on automating software installations, updates, and removals for clients in the AEC industry (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Bentley RAM, RISA-3D). For example, you might develop a script to automate the download, installation, and version check for AutoCAD, deploying updates if necessary. We have some existing scripts in place, but we're looking for someone to streamline them, add functionalities, and ensure long-term maintainability. Experience with NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM) is a major plus, as you'll also be integrating these scripts to leverage NinjaOne's functionalities, such as storing script variables.

Responsibilities:
-Write, edit, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating IT tasks and workflows.
-Troubleshoot and debug existing PowerShell scripts.
-Develop and implement scripting solutions to automate repetitive tasks within NinjaOne.
-Integrate PowerShell scripts with NinjaOne to enhance functionalities, leveraging NinjaOne’s script variables to make changes and updates easier long-term.
-Stay up-to-date on the latest PowerShell features and best practices.
-Document scripts clearly and concisely for future reference.
-Collaborate with me to identify automation opportunities.

Potential Future Growth:
Depending on mutual benefit and desire, you could take on further responsibilities, such as Google Workspace/O365 administration, MFA configuration & rollout via DUO, password management rollout, IT helpdesk, or HaloPSA ticket management/improvement/streamlining. This would allow the right multi-talented candidate to move from a part-time position to full time, with a diverse set of responsibilities and tasks throughout the week.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 2+ years of experience writing and editing PowerShell scripts.
-Experience with NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM) is a strong plus.
-Experience with HaloPSA for ticketing, KB articles, client management a strong plus.
-Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and GPO scripting.
-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong written English communication skills.
