Job Description

As a Front-End WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the front-end of WordPress websites. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to create seamless and engaging digital experiences. This role requires expertise in WordPress theme development, front-end technologies, and a strong understanding of UX/UI principles.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Implement responsive designs to ensure optimal performance across all devices.

Work closely with designers to translate Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch mockups into pixel-perfect web pages.

Optimize website performance, including page speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Implement animations and interactive elements using JavaScript and CSS frameworks.

Ensure WordPress websites follow best practices in security, SEO, and usability.

Work with third-party APIs and integrate external services when needed.

Debug front-end issues and provide solutions for an improved user experience.

Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and WordPress.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Front-End WordPress Developer or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.

Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.

Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.

Understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to front-end development.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize website performance.

Strong attention to detail and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Crocoblocks (JetEngine).

Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce functionality within WordPress.

Basic understanding of backend development to collaborate effectively with backend developers.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
