Virtual Estimator for Remodeling Company

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Virtual Estimator to join our remodeling company. The ideal candidate will assist in accurately estimating job costs for various projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, garages, additions, and whole house remodels. This is a virtual position where you will receive project details, photos, and notes via email to prepare proposals using Xactremodel and JobTread, or any similar software that you have experience using.

Responsibilities:

Estimating and Proposal Preparation:

-Review project details, photos, and notes provided via email and OneNote.
-Use Xactremodel (or any similar software) to create detailed and accurate job estimates.
-Import estimates into JobTread for presentation purposes.
-Prepare and finalize proposals for client review.

Communication and Collaboration:

-Communicate effectively with the company owner to understand project scopes and requirements.
-Ensure all estimates are completed in a timely manner.

Accuracy and Detail Orientation:

-Ensure all estimates are thorough, accurate, and reflect current market prices.
-Maintain attention to detail to avoid errors in project cost estimations.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in construction or remodeling estimating.
-Proficiency with Xactremodel software.
-Familiarity with JobTread is a plus.
-Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
-Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
