Part-Time Video Editor (Remote)
We’re looking for a highly skilled, creative Video Editor to help craft engaging short-form content for social media (LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok). If you love storytelling, have an eye for pacing and visual flow, and know how to make content pop—this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Editing Short-Form Video Content
- Cut, trim, and enhance raw footage to create scroll-stopping short-form videos.
- Add engaging subtitles, motion graphics, and sound design to keep viewers hooked.
- Maintain a fast-paced, native social media style (think: Alex Hormozi, GaryVee, etc.).
- Optimize content formats for different platforms (LinkedIn, IG Reels, TikTok, YT Shorts).
2. Repurposing Long-Form Videos
- Take long-form content (interviews, podcasts, webinars) and extract high-impact clips.
- Edit down into short, punchy, standalone videos with a clear hook, value, and CTA.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).
- A feel for pacing, cuts, and attention retention—you know when to speed up, slow down, or add a
- Experience editing in a fast, dynamic, social media-friendly style.
- Basic color correction, audio enhancement, and motion graphics knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Bonus (Not Required, But Nice to Have)
- Experience with AI voiceovers, auto-captioning tools, and
- Understanding of LinkedIn’s video content style and best practices.
Hours & Pay:
- Flexible hours, but must be able to meet daily deadlines.
- Competitive rate per video (based on experience and turnaround time).
