JOB OVERVIEW

Position Description:

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) freelance contractor to work with one of our clients. As a DTC Performance Ads Creative Strategist, you will take full ownership of ideating, scripting, and briefing new ad concepts based on performance data froUpgrade to see actual infota Ads Manager. This role is focused strictly on performance creative development, requiring a data-driven approach to creating compelling ads that drive results. You will analyze competitor creatives, monitor trends, and develop ad variations at scale to optimize performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of direct response copywriting, marketing psychology, and paid media analytics, with experience in UGC creative production for high-spending DTC brands.


About the work:

• Own the full ideation and scripting process for performance-driven ad creatives.
• Analyze Meta Ads Manager data to generate high-converting ad concepts.
• Monitor competitor ads and platform trends to develop new creative strategies.
• Identify customer pain points and craft messaging that speaks directly to target audiences.
• Iterate winning ad creatives at scale, producing multiple variations of hooks, messaging, and avatars.
• Lead end-to-end production of ad assets, from briefing video editors to final execution.
• Act as a creative thought leader, providing insights and recommendations to the Growth team.
• Build and maintain a library of high-performing creative assets to streamline production.
• Track performance metrics to ensure ad creatives meet CPA and volume targets.


Boxes to check:

• 2+ years of experience managing UGC production for a DTC/ D2C (health/supplement brand is a huge advantage).
• Experience overseeing creative production for brands spending £200k+ per month on paid social.
• Strong expertise in direct response copywriting and ad concept development.
• Deep understanding of Meta Ads Manager and the ability to read and analyze performance data.
• Ability to brief video editors, creators, and designers to bring ad concepts to life.
• Strong grasp of marketing psychology and consumer behavior to craft high-converting messaging.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance ad copy and concept development.
• Basic experience with Figma/Canva for static ad creation is a plus.
• A passion for health, wellness, or skincare is a bonus.
• Highly organized, data-driven, and detail-oriented in managing multiple creative projects.
• Availability to work full-time during GMT hours for seamless collaboration.


About the role:

• Full-time position at $16/hr, working 40 hours per week
• Night shifts (MST) with fixed weekends off
• Freelance job without benefits, insurance, or paid time off

• Permanent work-from-home setup
