About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Assistant to join our growing digital marketing team. In this role, you will support our SEO initiatives, assist in keyword research, optimize on-page content, and contribute to link-building strategies. You will also collaborate with the marketing team to enhance website performance, improve search engine rankings, and drive organic traffic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Optimization & Keyword Research
Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify new opportunities for organic growth.
Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements for targeted keywords.
Assist in developing SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and other web content.
Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
Technical SEO & Website Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain website health using SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including broken links, crawl errors, and page speed optimization.
Assist in website audits to ensure compliance with SEO best practices and Google algorithm updates.
Link Building & Outreach:
Support link-building strategies through outreach, guest posting, and influencer collaborations.
Research and analyze competitor backlink profiles to identify potential link-building opportunities.
Maintain a database of link-building contacts and partnerships.
Content Collaboration & On-Page SEO:
Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, product descriptions, and website copy.
Ensure all content follows on-page SEO best practices, including keyword usage, internal linking, and content structure.
Assist in updating existing content to improve keyword rankings and user engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track and analyze website performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
Prepare regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an SEO role or digital marketing position is preferred, but not required.
SEO Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Content Optimization: Knowledge of on-page SEO techniques, including keyword placement, meta tags, and internal linking.
Technical SEO: Basic understanding of technical SEO elements such as site speed, mobile optimization, and schema markup.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing principles, including content marketing, social media integration, and audience targeting.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
Detail-oriented and a creative thinker with the ability to multitask.
Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
