Holmwoods is looking for an experienced Software Tester for web applications. You will get to work in a small team on testing and improving our educational tools that are used in schools worldwide.

Role Overview:

As a Mid-Level Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify, report, and resolve defects while contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.


Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and execute test plans for our web applications.
- Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality and usability.


Skills:

We are looking for someone who ...
- Has 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing, including hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Is proficient with testing tools such as Cypress/Vitest/JMeter (or equivalent)
- Has a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Has effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.

We will be extra impressed if you have ...
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core and VueJs with JavaScript
- Experience with performance testing
- Passion for education and a commitment to creating impactful learning experiences

- Competitive salary (PHP 450–700 per hour)
- Part time employment (16 hours a week), with the possibility for more in the future. This might vary per week, depending on the development work.
