Marketing Manager

We are a quickly growing dance studio in South Carolina, USA looking for a bright, diligent, and creative Marketing Manager to be responsible for the overall tone, story, and branding of the company online. The Marketing Manager should ensure any interaction with clients and the general public online is in keeping with our philosophy and mission and consistently use online tools to bring new prospects into the studio so our amazing team can work their magic.

This position has five primary responsibilities:

1. Social media management
2. SEO/Google My Business
3. Copywriting
4. Basic graphic design
5. Other requests that may arise as needed

Our business and our industry are quickly evolving, and we need someone who is willing to be flexible, learn new processes and softwares when needed, and, from time to time, have minor changes in job responsibilities as the business requires. Extension to a full time position is possible.

After an extended period of growth over the last couple years, we're now focusing on systematizing and adding efficiency to our current operation. This is where a VA comes in. We've identified several extremely important yet time-consuming activities that we've decided to systematize and delegate to a Virtual Marketing Manager. We want this individual to be just as much a part of the team as the rest of us in the office. We'll have regular communication with you as the data and updates you provide will be critical to keep our operation running smoothly and new clients coming in the doors.

We believe in providing clear, documented instructions for our employees. As such, we are in the process of documenting what we would like our new Virtual Marketing Manager to do, how we recommend completing the tasks, and the specific outcomes and reports that we would like to see on a regular basis. We communicate primarily with Slack, and also email, phone and Zoom when needed. We provide documented work instructions via Google Docs and Loom videos.

We teach weekly dance classes in multiple dance genres to children ages 18 months to 18 years. We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acrobatics, and preschool dance. We believe dance is for everyone, and operate in an inclusive and kid-friendly environment. We currently serve 750 children in 93 weekly dance classes. In addition to our classes, we offer twice-a-year performance opportunities through our Winter and Spring Showcases, a Performance Team, summer camps and classes, and birthday parties and events.

Our founder has been in the dance studio industry for 25 years. Dance Without Limits has been recognized as a finalist for Small Business of the Year, and is one of the fastest growing dance studios in our area. We're focused and dedicated to running an efficient, profitable, growing and upstanding organization, and we want to have a long-term relationship with a loyal and capable Virtual Marketing Manager to help us achieve that.
