Location: Remote (Candidate must be located in the Philippines and available to work in Central Standard Time)

Salary: PHP 30,000 - PHP 50,000 per month (approximately $550 - $900 USD), commensurate with experience.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST

A Cross Law Firm PLLC is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services with a focus on client satisfaction. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our legal processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage legal documents in Clio, ensuring all drafts are properly filed and maintained.
- Utilize the Odyssey e-filing system to e-file legal documents in accordance with Illinois court procedures.
- Review and analyze documents to extract necessary information for updating custom fields in client matters.
- Collect information and documents from clients in a timely manner and document all steps and actions taken in each case.
- Create and manage client portals, including sending onboarding messages to new clients.
- Serve as a client-facing resource, requiring excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes using the 5 W’s and 1 H framework to ensure thorough documentation.
- Manage attorneys' court calendars, including scheduling, reminders, and checking court dockets.
- Save and organize documents and emails relevant to specific client cases or matters.
- Handle email correspondence for upper management, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Manage billing duties, including sending out bills twice a month and ensuring billing accuracy.
- Conduct legal research as needed and follow directions precisely.
- Identify and complete tasks during downtimes to enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or government agency in a similar capacity is required.
- Familiarity with Clio and Odyssey e-filing systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent writing and reading comprehension skills.
- Experience in email handling for upper management is necessary.
- Personable and able to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and find tasks during downtimes

Benefits: After the first 90 days of satisfactory performance, a performance based increase up to $2000.00 is available. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, eager to learn, and who knows how to solve problems in a thoughtful way with little guidance. Excellent legal research ability may be helpful to you in achieving this milestone. No law students, but we will accept law graduates or licensed attorneys for this role.
