Elementor Website Developer for UK Marketing Agency

We are a UK based marketing agency looking to hire a Website Developer to work on our client websites. This will be an ongoing role working on new and existing websites.

We have a web designer who builds new sites but once built they need images to be edited and uploaded, text adding, layout changes, testing on different screen sizes etc. We also have existing websites which need new content adding to them on a regular basis.

Experience using Elementor is important because there are often changes needed to a new or existing site and we want the Website Developer to do them. When a new site is built it needs checking on different screen sizes and any things that don’t look right need to be changed.

Required experience:

- At least 3 years experience working on WordPress sites
- Elementor - you must have experience building websites with Elementor. We don’t use styling plugins, just Elementor with CSS where needed
- Image editing – Photoshop ideally for sizing images correctly. Need to be able to pick out best images from client folders to use on the site
- CSS knowledge would be helpful because we use it on most sites to get the styling the way we want it to look.
- Attention to detail - this role will involve checking new sites to make sure everything looks and works correctly and testing it on different screen sizes.

The role will also involve:

- Launch of new site – transfer to our hosting server, monitoring deployment and checking everything is okay when it goes live.
- Website management – Updating plugins and checking sites are working correctly after updates. Fixing any problems found on sites would be helpful too.
- Improving existing sites – we build websites but our main business is marketing for our clients (SEO, ads, social media etc) and we’re always looking for ways to improve their existing website.

We are in the UK so you will need to be able to work between 8am - 2pm UTC

We are looking for someone who is ambitious and can grow with us as they learn new skills. This is a part-time position but we would consider changing it to full-time in futurfor the right person.
