JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Associate to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including processing international transactions and managing other assignments as directed by the CEO. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working during mid-shift hours to align with our global business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

International Transactions: Process and reconcile international transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in currency conversion.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with company policies and international accounting standards.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections for both domestic and international clients.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including VAT, GST, and other relevant international taxes.

Communication: Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions as required.

Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Problem-Solver: Ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work mid-shift hours to accommodate international clients and operations.
