We are currently looking for a highly skilled Virtual Assistant (VA) - Logistics Coordinator to support our daily operations and ensure seamless load dispatching and scheduling.

Job Overview

Dr. Johny and Patricia are seeking a Virtual Assistant (VA) with prior experience in logistics and dispatching. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and well-versed in broker negotiations, load coordination, and transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Management: Assign loads to drivers efficiently, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization.
Broker Interaction: Communicate with brokers to secure profitable loads, negotiate rates, and arrange transportation details.
Load Coordination: Plan and manage round-trip loads to minimize empty miles and maximize revenue (e.g., finding return loads for drivers after deliveries).
Load Board Management: Utilize various load boards to find, assess, and secure suitable loads.
Driver Coordination: Maintain regular communication with drivers to provide them with updates, trip details, and schedules.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of dispatch details, trip logs, broker communications, and load assignments.
Problem Solving & Support: Address any logistical challenges, including rerouting and adjusting schedules as necessary.
Reporting & Analytics: Provide periodic reports on load efficiency, broker negotiations, and overall transportation performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Prior experience in logistics, transportation dispatching, or freight brokerage is preferred.
Proficiency in using load boards and other logistics management tools.
Strong negotiation skills with brokers and the ability to secure high-value loads.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with drivers, brokers, and stakeholders.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset to handle logistics challenges and unforeseen delays.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing tasks efficiently.
