E-commerce Bookkeeper for Amazon US & UK FBA & Shopify Business

I run an e-commerce business selling keychains, primarily through Amazon FBA (US & UK) and Shopify. I need a skilled bookkeeper to clean up my books from February 2024 to today and set up an efficient accounting system moving forward.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting:
- Organize my Amazon and Shopify sales data
- Provide accurate profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
- Track COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and inventory values
- Ensure my Amazon FBA and Shopify revenue and expenses are properly recorded
- Set up either Xero or QuickBooks Online (I am open to recommendations based on your experience)
- Help automate bookkeeping as much as possible
2. Reconciling Transactions:
- Ensure that Amazon payouts, Shopify transactions, and bank statements match recorded sales
- Track Amazon FBA fees, refunds, and other deductions
- Ensure all transactions are correctly categorized and reconciled
3. Tax & Compliance Support:
- Handle both US and UK tax-related compliance
- Assist with VAT registration and backtracking VAT for the UK
- Ensure compliance with US tax liabilities and assist with tax preparation

What I’m Looking For:
? E-commerce experience: You’ve worked with Amazon FBA and Shopify businesses before.
? Expertise in QuickBooks or Xero (I’ll let you decide which is best for my business)
? Experience with Amazon bookkeeping tools (A2X, Sellerboard, or similar)
? Strong understanding of US tax liabilities and VAT compliance for the UK
? Can help with VAT registration & backtracking necessary VAT details
? Great at automation – I want to streamline as much as possible
? Able to dedicate time upfront to clean up and organize my books

Time Commitment & Pay:
Initially, I need someone hands-on to clean up my books and set up proper systems.
After setup, I’d like ongoing monthly bookkeeping with minimal manual work.

Pay is negotiable based on experience. Please provide your hourly rate or a monthly flat fee.
