JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Payroll, along with experience handling bookkeeping cleanup, reconciliation, data entry, and financial reporting. The ability to interpret balance sheets and profit & loss statements is essential. Experience with project management software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
Maintain accurate financial records and transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Process and manage QuickBooks Online Payroll, including payroll setup, tax filings, and compliance.
Handle bookkeeping cleanup for new and existing accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial transactions on a regular basis.
Perform data entry and categorize expenses for accurate financial reporting.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Generate and analyze Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
Identify discrepancies and ensure financial reports are accurate and compliant.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to help improve business financial strategies.
Project & Task Management:
Use project management software to track tasks and ensure bookkeeping deadlines are met.
Maintain organized digital financial records and collaborate with the team to streamline bookkeeping processes.
Communicate regularly regarding financial updates, reconciliations, and outstanding issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
? Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Online Payroll
? Strong reconciliation skills and ability to clean up and organize financial records
? Experience with data entry, categorization, and financial report preparation
? Ability to read and interpret Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and other key financial reports
? Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Trello, etc.) is a plus
? Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
? Excellent communication skills for reporting and team collaboration
