What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Junior Recruiter who is highly intelligent, driven, and eager to learn. This role is ideal for someone who graduated in the top 10% of their class and is passionate about human behavior, business strategy, and talent development.
Key Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field (Graduated in the last year, top 10% of class).
? Exceptional written and spoken English—strong communication is critical in this role.
? Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple candidates and hiring processes simultaneously.
? Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills—able to assess candidates beyond resumes.
? People-oriented and consultative—comfortable speaking with professionals at all levels.
? Eager to learn and grow within the recruitment industry, with an interest in talent acquisition, hiring trends, and behavioral psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively identify and engage top talent using various sourcing channels.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews, assessing candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Resume & Profile Analysis: Review resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and assessments to evaluate candidate potential.
Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers to match the right candidates with client needs.
Talent Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized database of prospective candidates and keep track of industry hiring trends.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best recruitment practices, sourcing techniques, and industry trends to improve hiring effectiveness.
What Your First 30-60 Days Will Look Like
First 30 Days:
? Complete onboarding, gaining deep familiarity with Sound Decisions’ recruitment process, tools, and strategies.
? Shadow senior recruiters to understand client expectations and hiring methodologies.
? Learn advanced sourcing techniques to find and engage top talent efficiently.
? Assist in screening candidates, evaluating resumes, and managing candidate profiles.
? Begin conducting phone screens and drafting interview notes for senior recruiters.
First 60 Days:
? Take ownership of end-to-end candidate sourcing, proactively building talent pipelines.
? Conduct structured candidate interviews, assessing skills, cultural fit, and long-term career potential.
? Work directly with hiring managers and recruiters to refine job descriptions and hiring strategies.
? Identify opportunities to optimize recruitment workflows and improve efficiency.
? Provide data-driven insights on sourcing effectiveness and suggest improvements.
