As a Graphic Design Specialist at Amplify Viral, you will be responsible for creating high-quality still image posts, carousels, and simple videos using Canva and ChatGPT. Your work will follow established design principles and branding guidelines, while also incorporating AI-driven refinements. You will collaborate with the team and clients to ensure all visual content aligns with strategic marketing goals.
## Key Responsibilities ##
1. Content Creation & Design
Use Canva to design still images and carousel posts based on provided design principles.
Maintain consistent branding across brand visual assets.
Generate text overlays that align with brand messaging.
2. AI-Powered Iteration & Improvement
Use ChatGPT for ideating design concepts.
Submit completed slides to ChatGPT for feedback and refinement.
Adjust designs based on AI recommendations and brand-specific guidelines.
3. Collaboration & Workflow Management
Work with the team to ensure timely content delivery.
Incorporate feedback from team to enhance design effectiveness.
Organize and store all assets in shared locations for easy access.
4. Quality Control & Optimization
Ensure all designs are visually appealing, engaging, and optimized for social media.
Ensure all designs have proper spelling and grammar.
Ensure all designs fit design principles for a particular brand.
5. Posting approved designs
Uploading the post to Instagram with a description which you will generate using provided ChatGPT prompts.
## Required Qualifications & Skills ##
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Use of Timeproof to track hours.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and composition.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and content trends.
- Ability to use ChatGPT for content ideation, feedback, and iteration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
## Tools & Platforms Used ##
Canva – Primary design tool.
ChatGPT – For brainstorming, improving, and refining slides.
Google Drive/Airtable – Asset management and storage.
Gathertown – Virtual workspace for communication and collaboration.
Instagram & Other Social Media – Publishing and performance tracking.

## Work Expectations ##
You will be expected to start on time Monday - Friday.
During your 8 hour shift, 3 paid breaks are permitted:
2x 15 minute break
1x 30 minute lunch break
Total paid time = 8 hours, actual work = 7 hours.
