Copywriting Translator

As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented multilingual copywriting translators to help us communicate our vision authentically and effectively.
Role Overview:
We are seeking for a skilled team member that is knowledgeable in translating product descriptions, website, banner, images and all website texts through the use of Deepl.com and Translate and Adapt App.

The role involves compiling of texts in a word document, submitting them to a proofreader, and uploading these texts per EU country on the store through the Translate and Adapt app.

Key Responsibilities:

Compiling of all English version texts of the product title, descriptions, banner texts, image texts, and other website or store messaging, and putting them in a Word document.
Translating the English text to EU languages (e.g. German, Dutch, French, Polish, Danish, Swedish, etc.), through the use of Deepl.com
Coordinating and submitting the files and documents to proofreaders assigned to that specific language.
Uploading the proofread version of the document on the store through the “Translate and Adapt” app.
Adding the correct size conversions of the shoes, depending on which EU country.
Keep an eye for any updates on the store banners (Homepage and Collections), especially during Holiday Launches, and translating them to the specific EU language.

Qualifications:

IMPORTANT: Must have attention to detail, organized, and ability to meet deadlines
Proven experience in working with Shopify
Experience in translating website and product descriptions through Deepl.com
Must be knowledgeable on the “Translate & Adapt App”
Must be willing to work with a team
Must be willing to attend weekly meetings
Familiarity with the footwear, fashion, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
