Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Google Sheets and Forms expert to help transform our preschool 4x6” task card game sets into an interactive system for gameplay and progress tracking.

Games original files are in Canva and PDF 4/page. We need you to take each card and turn it into a digital experience.

This project includes creating a dynamic Google Sheets-based game with dual data tracking options and a separate timer file for teacher use.

1. Student Gameplay Mode: Interactive Sheets where students play games, receive immediate feedback (correct/incorrect), and have their progress tracked automatically.
2. Teacher Input Mode: Google Forms for teachers to manually log student assessment results when using the physical task cards.
3. Timer File: A standalone Google Sheet featuring countdown timers (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes) with engaging visuals and character designs from the task cards.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creativity and use AI tools (like ChatGPT, SheetAI, or similar) to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Automatic progression and tracking of answers.
2. Dual Data Collection:
• Create Google Forms for teachers to manually input student assessment data.
• Link both gameplay and teacher-entered data into a unified tracker.
3. Timer File Creation:
• Develop a standalone Google Sheet with customizable countdown timers (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes).
• Add visuals (e.g., characters from the task cards) to make the timer engaging and teacher-friendly.
• Include simple controls for teachers to start, stop, and reset the timer.
4. Teacher Dashboards:
• Build dashboards to display individual and class-wide progress.
• Include visuals like progress bars, percentages, and readiness indicators.
5. Use of AI for Efficiency:
• Leverage AI tools to speed up development and enhance the user experience.
• Automate repetitive tasks like certificates or progress reporting.
6. Testing & Finalization:
• Test the system to ensure smooth functionality and usability.
• Refine based on feedback to deliver a polished final product.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Apps Script.
• Experience creating timers or interactive tools in Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, SheetAI, or similar for workflow efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Prior experience with education tools or projects is a bonus.

Compensation

• Flat Rate: $210 for the full project via PayPal when complete
• Expected delivery: ~15-21 days.
