JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Email Marketing Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce email marketing and how to write compelling, conversion-driven copy for e-commerce audiences. You will play a critical role in creating engaging and effective email campaigns that help our clients grow their businesses and foster brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
Write clear, persuasive, and engaging email copy for e-commerce brands, including subject lines, preheaders, headers, and body copy.
Collaborate with the strategy team to develop on-brand messaging aligned with campaign goals and client objectives.
Understand and implement email marketing best practices, including tone, formatting, and layout optimization for e-commerce.
Optimize copy to drive key performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Stay informed about e-commerce trends and consumer behaviors to tailor copy accordingly.
Conduct research on client brands, target audiences, and competitors to create tailored messaging.
Proofread and edit copy to ensure quality and consistency across campaigns.
Work closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals align seamlessly.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably with a focus on e-commerce email marketing.
Strong understanding of e-commerce and the customer journey.
Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in US English.
Ability to write in various tones and styles, tailored to different brands and audiences.
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and how to optimize for conversions.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creativity and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.
