We are a London-based fast-growing tech startup taking on the property maintenance sector. Qeeper was founded in January 2021, we have already raised investment and expanded to cover 3 UK cities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Front-End Web Developer with a passion for crafting user-friendly and visually engaging web interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, coupled with an eye for design.


Key Responsibilities:

Development: Build, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Next js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX mockups into interactive and dynamic web pages.
Design Collaboration: Collaborate with founders to refine visual concepts and ensure design fidelity in implementation.
Code Optimisation: Ensure high performance of web applications through clean, reusable, and efficient code.
Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure web applications function seamlessly across various browsers and devices.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve front-end development issues and bugs.
Collaboration: Work closely with back-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs and ensure cohesive functionality.


Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in next.js and its ecosystem, including hooks, state management, and component-based architecture.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Familiarity with CSS frameworks (e.g., SASS, or Tailwind CSS) and pre-processing tools.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

Design Skills:

Basic to intermediate experience with design tools such as Figma
An understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and colour theory.
Experience in creating and refining wireframes and mockups is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Our Team Leads in Manila and Cebu organise quarterly voluntary company meetups. These are paid for by the company, so you can get to know your colleagues in an offline setting.

We Offer:
1. $8 per hour
3. Full time or Part time
4. Hours worked need to be within 9am - 6pm UK Time
