JOB OVERVIEW

We are starting an Instagram account for our physical product brand and need a talented editor and motion designer to help us create high-quality, captivating Facebook and Instagram ads and reels/posts. Our goal is to present our dental cleaning product in a cinematic, eye-catching manner that feels polished and professional. We want the final product to grab the audience’s attention right from the start, establishing our brand as reliable and trustworthy.

The initial ad content plan will revolve around educational videos, UGC, and product showcases, which will also serve as featured posts on our social media profiles.

The opening seconds are crucial. We aim to spark curiosity and keep our viewers engaged throughout, much like an enticing short-film trailer.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong expertise in video editing and motion design, especially for Facebook and Instagram ads

• Experience with editing styles similar to the references we've shared, demonstrating a track record of polished and professional visuals.

• Proficiency in sound design, integrating sound that complements visuals and keeps viewers hooked.

• A solid understanding of platform-specific formats and key elements that capture attention within the first 5 seconds.

• A proactive approach to asking questions and clarifying details to fully grasp the project needs.

• Basic knowledge of relevant AI tools and how to effectively incorporate them into your editing process.

Responsibilities & Workflow:

We have a comprehensive content plan ready featuring ad transcripts for 20 pieces that you’ll review in Notion.
Your expert insights and creative ideas are always welcome, but we’ll discuss any changes together before implementing them.

You will be working with:

• Footages shot by our videographers

• 3D product footages

• Stock videos, AI voiceovers, and sound design, which you will select and adjust independently to align with our initial content goals.

Pacing and engagement are our top priorities. We need your creative decisions for seamless transitions and dynamic movements that make our ads truly stand out. The visual tone should be clean and modern.

We’ll also go over our visual branding style in detail to ensure the final product meets our expectations.

Videos must be:

• Between 25 and 50 seconds in length

• Exported at a minimum of 1080p resolution

• Relevant, with cohesive and aesthetic graphics, smooth, non-jerky movements, and royalty-free.

Deadlines:

We plan to begin this project in a few weeks, once all the footage is prepped for editing. When we get started, you will be tasked with creating 20 ad videos according to our content plan as soon as possible. Once you finish the initial batch of content and we are satisfied with the results, we’ll be looking forward to potentially working with you long term, as we manage multiple brands simultaneously and in constant need of creating new content.
