ELECTRICAL ENGINEER- UTILITIES SECTOR
Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing electrical plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining accurate project data. With at least 5 years of experience in the utilities sector, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in utilities regulations, and skilled in technical data entry and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Review and assess electrical plans for compliance with utility standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
-Provide technical input on electrical specifications and ensure adherence to project guidelines.
-Perform accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive records of project specifications, plan reviews, and compliance status.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in project documentation.
-Support engineering teams by compiling, analyzing, and reporting on data related to electrical projects.
-Update and manage data within internal databases, ensuring timely and organized data entry.
Job Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in the utilities industry, with a focus on electrical engineering.
-Strong attention to detail and experience with technical documentation and data entry.
-Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as familiarity with data management systems.
-Knowledge of utilities industry standards, regulations, and codes.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and update records accurately.
-Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineering teams and presenting findings.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with project management software and data analysis tools.
