We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Specialist to join our team for a 3-month project only, focusing on developing and enhancing our Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI environments. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and a proven track record in scoping, planning, and delivering IT projects. As an IT Project Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the expansion and optimization of our collaborative and analytical tools to boost organizational efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

Microsoft Teams Development

Lead the expansion and integration of Microsoft Teams within our organization, ensuring it aligns with our communication and collaboration goals.

Customize and optimize Teams to enhance user engagement and productivity, incorporating additional Microsoft apps and third-party services as needed.

SharePoint Administration

Oversee the development and maintenance of SharePoint sites, ensuring they meet the company’s requirements for document management and intra-office collaboration.

Implement governance policies for SharePoint usage across departments, ensuring consistency and security in document handling and storage.

Power BI Integration

Develop and manage Power BI solutions to enhance business intelligence and reporting capabilities.

Train and support team members in utilizing Power BI dashboards and reports to make data-driven decisions.

Project Management

Scope, plan, and deliver IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Manage project milestones, communicate progress to stakeholders, and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges or changes in objectives.

Requirements

Extensive experience in managing and implementing projects involving Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.

Strong technical acumen with proven ability to scope, plan, and execute IT projects effectively.

Desirable

Experience in conducting training sessions on Microsoft tools and technologies to enhance team competency and project outcomes.

Software Expertise

Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.

Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate).
