We are an online martial arts business looking for a highly skilled Shopify web developer/designer (our website is [jimartialarts.com](http://jimartialarts.com)). Our mission is to optimize our website's speed, UX, and most importantly conversion rate, with a target of achieving a **consistent 3% conversion rate**. We are currently facing challenges with site speed, UI/UX, and conversions and are looking for a professional who can amplify these aspects.

**Who We Are Looking For:**

We are seeking someone with **extensive experience** in building and optimizing Shopify websites, with a strong focus on increasing conversion rates, improving UI/UX, and enhancing site performance. Excellent communication skills are a must as we value collaboration and timely feedback. We believe that a new landed page is needed for our website in order for us to see greater conversions - we feel like our current one isn’t captivating enough. HOWEVER, it’s important to mention that we are NOT experts and this is just an assumption. Which is why we would like you to come on board, give us a comprehensive audit, and use your expertise to make an astute decision for the success of our website.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct a comprehensive audit of our website, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement, particularly on the **landing page, product pages, and home page**.
- Implement UI/UX changes to optimize for conversion, ensuring the website meets a target conversion rate of **3%**.
- Improve website speed by utilizing **efficient coding practices** and minimizing errors.
- Maintain and follow our **existing brand theme** of black and gold, ensuring all design changes reflect this while also enhancing visibility and overall user experience.
- Implement **Google Analytics** and other tracking tools to monitor site performance and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure **responsive communication** with the business owners, adhering to deadlines and providing prompt updates and feedback.
- Collaborate with the business owners and virtual assistant on a regular basis for ongoing improvements and adjustments.

**Qualifications:**

- **Proven experience** in developing and optimizing Shopify websites, specifically for eCommerce businesses with a focus on improving conversion rates.
- Expertise in **Shopify coding** and customization, as well as proficiency in front-end technologies like **HTML, CSS, JavaScript**.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and **conversion optimization** best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to significantly **increase conversion rates** for previous clients.
- Familiarity with **website speed optimization** tools and techniques (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights).
- Experience with **Google Analytics** and other analytics tools to track performance and suggest improvements based on data insights.
- **Excellent communication skills** and a proven ability to work collaboratively and respond to feedback in a timely manner.
- Strong portfolio showcasing **Shopify projects** that demonstrate successful conversion improvements and UI/UX design.

**Budget & Timeline:**

- We are proposing a $800 fee for this project as we believe it will take 45-60 hours in total

1. little tweaks on our product page wont help. Need a new landing a page completely, don’t fix the product page.
2. No motivational elements on our site right now. No before or after's, or elements. Need to implement some
3. Recommend we go for a drop shipping style page
4. Not being conveyed the key selling points, communicate
5. Normal to have a lower conversion rate with organic traffic
6. Paid ads give a higher conversion rate
7. WE NEED to show why our band over others
8. Need all key selling points immediately
