Virtual Amazon Listing Copywriter

POSITION SUMMARY
Blue Wave is a consumer products eCommerce business located in Batavia, IL, which imports private label manufactured products to the United States and sells them online through Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Wayfair, Overstock.com, and to a select group of broker-dealers. The Virtual Copywriter role is a new position at Blue Wave Products that will support our existing Amazon and other client account managers in their efforts to create, manage, and optimize product listings. This role requires several years of experience in eCommerce-related product copywriting and a deep understanding of Amazon listing copy and content.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
AMAZON LISTING COPYWRITING
• Expertise in Amazon listing content (titles, bullet points, product descriptions, A+ content).
• Experience with writing copy for infographics and image tiles.
• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword optimization, and Amazon’s content guidelines.
• Ability to create engaging, conversion-focused content for e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with tools like Salsify is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in our categories—pools, indoor saunas, patio, or indoor games (billiards, shuffleboard, etc.) is a bonus.

REQUIREMENTS
• Fluent or advanced proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Must be willing to work 8 am to 5 pm CST Monday to Friday
• 3+ years’ experience working in eCommerce
