Creative Video Editor for podcasts and Thumbnail graphic design

Job Description:

We are looking for a Creative Video Editor and Graphic designer who is passionate about storytelling through video, has a keen eye for detail, and loves bringing content to life. As our video editor, you'll collaborate closely with our two content creators, editing weekly videos that resonate with our audience of dedicated mothers and caregivers. Your primary focus will be podcasts, and you must have previous experience in video editing. There may also be the option of converting long videos to shorts. Position is part time but has room to grow as company grows and podcast is graining traction with our vieweres

Graphic Design is a secondary talent, but would like someone who can create YouTube thumbnails, Lead magnet PDF, and infographics

Responsibilities:

- Edit weekly videos. Most podcasts are around 20 to 40 minutes long, and we want to break them into parts that are 10 to 15 minutes long

- Create shorts using Opus clips

- Ensure high-quality video production, including color correction, sound design, and overall video flow.

- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet deadlines.

- Stay updated on video editing trends and techniques to keep our content fresh and engaging. We are fans of AI tools to help streamline the process

- Be comfortable using software like Jira, Confluence, and Loom. We want someone who can meet deadlines and is a great communicator
