Are you an experienced real estate title searcher and genealogist? If so we need to talk. We are looking for an experienced person. We buy and sell vacant and delinquent real estate across the southern and western US. Very often the property is owned by an estate. The individual purchased the property 60 to 100 years ago. They are deceased but not probate, not affidavit of heirship has been completed. So you will need real estate title experience to find the vesting deed where the original buyer purchased the property. You will need to bring that research forward to make sure no other transfers have been completed. So that we know the estate still owns it entirely.
Then we need genealogy research on the family to determine who the original owners heirs are. Whether or not they are alive or deceased and who their heirs are. You will need to check probate for all deceased persons to make sure their estate was not probated. Once we have identified who the heirs are then we will attempt to reach them.
If you are interested in this position, DO NOT REPLY with I can do this, when do I start. Provide a detailed example of the most difficult title search you completed. Provide a detailed example of the most complicated and difficult genealogy project you have completed.
This position is most similar to a Landman in the oil and gas industry. If you have worked for a Landman in the US that is the ideal position. This is not position where you simply go to the county tax website and look up the ownership.
