The Content Specialist and Blog Writer is a key strategic position on the marketing team for Dr. Roseann.

Dr. Roseann is a mental health trailblazer, founder of The Global Institute of Children’s Mental Health and Dr. Roseann is “Changing the way we view and treat children’s mental health.” FORBES magazine called her, “A thought leader in children’s mental health.”

Do you have a passion for staying on top of blog rankings and strategizing on how to improve rankings?

Are you skilled at looking at SEO data and creating content or revising existing content to gain traffic?

Do you have experience working in a results-driven environment, where you use blog copy to drive revenue-generating KPIs?

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with managing website content to drive revenue goals, creating content for the customer journey, growing channels and driving channel traffic into blogs and funnels that grow the business.

This is an FULL-TIME - exclusive position

The ideal candidate will:

2 or more years of experience managing content
2 or more years of experience with SEO blog writing, writing meta descriptions, and snippets
2 or more years of experience using SEO tools for blog writing, including one or more: SEMRush, SEO Surfer, RankIQ, etc.
Experience in organic keywords and understands the principles of incorporating SEO into blog copy
Knows how to use keyword research to plan content
Use SEO tech tools to monitor loss and gain of rankings and take action on modifying content in order to improve keyword rankings
Very skilled at regularly updating blog content to maintain or improve SEO rankings
Have superior storytelling skills and understand the needs of our community
Can write the copy for information graphics to be used within the blog and on Pinterest
Plan and create compelling content and regularly to support and engage our communities
Help conceptualize and create lead magnets, quizzes, etc. for list building
Work with our CEO/Marketing Director and SEO specialist to plan content
Pay attention to KPIs and create content to improve our engagement, reach, referral traffic and conversions
Review results and insights with the CEO/Marketing Director and marketing team, and suggest optimizations to our efforts to improve our KPIs
Work with a high-performing marketing team to review data, strategize and drive our business goals.

Loves managing blog content to ensure both maintaining keyword rankings and growing traffic
Are very organized
Loves writing blogs that quickly rank in relevant categories
Loves seeing content improve the website’s EEAT and domain authority
Loves SEO blogging and SEO tech tools
Is strategic in their SEO keyword strategy
Love to write compelling content and blogs that convert
Loves training and upleveling their skills
Is very organized and can update and maintain keywords using project management tools
Can write in our tone and style based on our brand guidelines
Is knowledgeable about and willing to further develop skills using SEO tools for keywords and competitors’ analysis for effective and SEO friendly copy
Understand the unique ways to engage readers on various resulting in clicks, lead magnet downloads and conversions
Understand how to leverage tools that keep bounce rates low
Can grasp complex concepts and make them understandable
Have excellent grammar and writing skills
Work well under pressure and on tight deadlines
Welcomes constructive criticism with the goal of creating greater impact with their writing
Have a desire to be a part of something bigger than yourself
Enjoy being part of a high performing team
Demonstrate follow-through and ability to get things done
Adeptly handle multiple moving parts at once
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Qualifications:
3 years experience in blog writing, blog revision and content creation
2 years experience in content management
3 years experience using SEO tools and managing keywords
2 years experience with keyword research and strategy
Working with US based companies for a minimum of 2 years
Experience with Pinterest
Excellent communication skills
Advanced time management and interpersonal skills
Associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred
Excellent verbal and written skills
Comprehensive knowledge of G Suite tools and navigating popular social media platforms

Compensation:

USD 5-7/hr (depending on experience and skill set)
