Risk and Insurance Manager

My career evolves mostly with Accounting for Bookkeeping. I was neophyte in the government bank when I started my career and I handled bookkeeping. It really gives a lot of knowledge and confidence every time you have successfully balance the transaction everyday. Sometimes we usually have this race with other bookkeepers on who shall emerge first to finish the entry will have a gift from our supervisor.

Ensure all the incidents, accidents and fraudulent are reported to insurer for possible insurance claim. All claims notifications must be compensable and supported with the documents.

One of my favorite topics and reporting is the financial analysis. Conducting ratios and comparison. Observing how data increase and decrease and what is the indicators? What would be the outlook if the trends will continue? What are the alternatives and recommendations to minimize the gaps and risk?

I used to assess the financial statement of the suppliers, vendors, contractors, tenants and other third parties.

Sometimes the Finance and Accounting role includes the administrative duties of the HR eg. recruitment and hiring process, Retaining and Development of Talent, Benefits and Compensation Management and conduct Training, Coaching and Mentoring.

I used to collect and tabulate data and conduct analysis for report generation to the external and internal compliance.

Most of the reports are initially done in excel

Email management is vital in communication to top management and to rank in file . That’s why this aspect played a biggest role in the success of the goals and objectives.
