Throughout my career I have worked with various affiliate networks by promoting digital products online and received commissions when I produce a sale. I’m far from an an expert at online marketing and have learned the hard way on several occasions but I’m happy to finally report some success. I’m posting this article to highlight to potential employers that I also have a marketing brain and know what is required to produce sales and targeted leads for a company. I began working with affiliate networks just over 5 years ago and since then have experimented with various types of traffic building techiniques, some of these include: Facebook, Google Adwords, SEO, PPC, Media Buying, Blog Commenting. I have worked alongside CPA networks such as Peerfly, Adscendmedia, Commission Junction and also the Amazon Associates program. I tend to choose a product which I have a personal interest in and one which I know I can promote effectively and stay motivated. I find that some networks products are a lot easier to promote than others and I recommend that once you find one which is selling with a high conversion rate for a low spend, milk the offer for all its worth as products do NOT stay hot for very long (unless ofcourse it’s an evergreen product).
