I worked as a Construction Manager for more than a year in a startup construction painting business. During my short stint, it really pushed me to learn things fast about the business and deliver a high standard of service.
My responsibilities revolve around helping to unload some of the general manager's workload, which include, but are not limited to:
(1) preparation of documents for mobilization, billing, and procurement,
(2) effectively analyzing plans to produce competitive and optimal cost estimates,
(3) quality assurance and onsite supervision to ensure our clients that we deliver the highest standard of service,
(4) quality control for materials and equipment to ensure our tools and materials are of optimal quality, and
(5) light bookkeeping to make sure everything is recorded (materials, labor, and equipment).
Right now, I'm enthusiastic about Front-End development! I love exploring technologies that will provide the best browsing experience for users, including those who use assistive technologies. I really enjoy figuring out how to optimally shrink and expand websites to fit different screen sizes. I also thrive to make sure the websites will have close to perfect optimization scores. Currently, I've worked with ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Material-UI, and Git/GitHub.

I strongly believe that I can apply the problem-solving skills I honed as a construction manager to Front-End Development. I'm confident that if I can Google it, I can learn to do it.
