I've been in the call center industry for 5 years. 2 years as customer service for a travel company (bus company) where we document complaints, process refund to customer's card, issue check, we also call dispatch in case the bus broke down, and call terminal to assist stranded passengers. I'm currently doing data entry (for a construction company) for 3 years now, what we do is do outbound calls and call contractors and suppliers and confirm if the contact information that we have is up to date. We also ask for the contractor's preferences like knowing what projects they want to bid, their service area, and who they prefer to work to so when our salesman call or visits them they know what to present to the contractors/suppliers to get a sale.
