Profile Description

       First of all, My name is Upgrade to see actual info. I am a fully certified medical coder under the AAPC (CPC, CRC, CPMA ICD 10 certified), ACDIS (CDI-A). My main experience is mostly with US based insurance  companies - I have worked with Travelers insurance, Workers Compensation of California,Blue Cross Blue Shield of America and now and RAK Insurance. I have recently completed a project with a Canadian Ambulatory Care Center - coded charts using ICD-10-CA and CCI V2018, The Canadian coding standard version 2018/CD-JO-CA and CCI; The National Care Reporting system (NACRS) Manual; and, discharge abstract database (DAD) abstracting manual. 

I am fast and efficient and data entry and know coding procedures inside and out. I am also extremely organized and efficient with keen attention to detail. I can handle a multitude of tasks at once and enjoy the busy atmosphere of a medical office. Past employers have praised me for my grUpgrade to see actual info under pressure and good work ethic. I'd love to bring this same level of efficiency and professionalism to the position of Medical Coder with your facility.

Vast experience and proficiency in ICD - 9, ICD-10 CPT - 4, HCPCS and DRG standards and techniques. Also, has the physical and mental capability to process hundred bills a day. Particularly, very skilled in all kinds of coding including E/M coding (95 and 97 guidelines), emergency, surgery, radiology and outpatient/inpatient coding which make me the perfect all-rounder for a particular job. I am comfortable with all medical coding software - strata, 3M, ESKA. On top of that, I am a team player who is known for my ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with co workers and seniors. Through out my career,I have been assigned to increased responsibilities because of my dedication and commitment to professionalism. 

My past experiences is with US based insurance companies, Namely - Travelers and Blue Cross Blue Shield of America - which i can validate through my credentials. I was assigned to abstract and code various cases such as Long-term, Day-surgeries, Emergency and Outpatient charts from EHR using EPIC application and 3M code finder application. I can also handle related tasks such as medical transcription and medical researches.
